万圣夜的庆祝 主题运动 去自每年 一0月 一 五日的 All Hallows Day 或者 All Saints Day。它本去是浑学徒们纪念逝者的传统节日,但是 逐步 改变 成一个纪念基督学圣者的传统节日。

　　The Halloween celebration comes from All Hallows Day or All Saints Day, the  一st of November. This was originally a pagan festival of the dead, but later became a holiday to honor Christian saints.

　　Halloween那个词去自于All Hallows Eve(夜面), All Hallows Eve是All Hallows Day前一地的简称。年夜 野认为 正在当日夜面, 逝者的性命 会再次复活 !

　　The name Halloween comes from a contraction of All Hallows Eve (Evening), the day before All Hallows Day. On night it was believed that the spirits of the dead would try to come back to life!

　　Dressingup in costumes是最水爆的万圣夜习俗风俗 之一,尤为是蒙小同伙 们的热闹 迎接 。按照 平易近 间习俗,年夜 野会dress upin costumes（配摘一点儿尤为的衣饰 ,里罩或者是装潢 设计）去吓退殁灵。

　　Dressingup in costumes is one of the most popular Halloween customs, especially among children. According to tradition, people would dress up in costumes (wear special clothing, masks or disguises) to frighten the spirits away.

　　Well, Irish children made Jack's lanterns on October  三 一st from a large potato or turnip, hollowed out with the sides having holes and lit by little candles inside. And Irish children would carry them as they went from house to house begging for food for the village Halloween festival that honored the Druid god Muck Olla. The Irish name for these lanterns was "Jack with thelantern公众or "Jack of the lantern", abbreviated as "Jack-o'-lantern"大众and now spelled "jack-o-lantern."

The paper would often stay in the tree for weeks until a heavy snow or rain washed it off.
